The more than 300,000 members work in business and industry, public accounting, consulting, government and education. Among the benefits of membership include an insurance program, retirement programs and special discount offers. The AICPA also works with state CPA organizations to fulfill its goals.

A successor to the American Association of Hispanic Certified Public Accountants (AAHCPA), the ALPFA is a professional organization for Latinos in accounting, finance and related industries. The organization’s mission is to create opportunities, build relationships for its members and work toward expanding Latino leadership within the global business community.

Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA)

The GSCPA is the professional organization of certified public accountants in the state of Georgia. With 22 chapters, the GSCPA promotes the study of accountancy, provides continuing education to its more than 10,000 members and offers resources to both its members and the general public. Like the AICPA, the GSCPA promotes high ethical standards for the practice of accounting. Members of the GSCPA work in public practice, business and industry, government and education.

Formerly known as Information Systems Audit and Control Association. The more than 50,000 members of this organization work in a variety of professional IT-related positions including IS auditor, IS security, regulator, chief information officer, educator and consultant. Industries represented include financial, government, utilities, and the public sector. ISACA has more than 170 chapters in more than 70 countries. ISACA member benefits include certification programs, education and governance.

National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)

The NABA works to expand and promote minority professionals in accounting and finance. Members include controllers, CFOs, directors of finance, financial analysts, and internal and external auditors. The organization offers programs for both professionals and students, including executive education, conferences and a CPE series, as well as an online career center.
