Sonja Forrer, CPA

President & Founder

Before starting her own company in 2000, Sonja was a top producer for one of the largest search firms in the metro Detroit area. Sonja’s recruiting philosophy prevails throughout Forrer & Associates. “You have to take care of your relationships, and manage and protect them at any cost,” she says.

Sonja began her career as a tax professional with Deloitte & Touche. The metro Detroit native says her major accomplishments are hiring a talented management team, maintaining a fun culture and focusing on process optimization through automation, best practices and centralization.

Today, Forrer & Associates is a rapidly growing firm successfully serving clients across the country. Sonja, a strong mentor to all her staff, aspires to be a national leader in executive search for the company’s core markets. The firm is now focusing on strategic growth.

When not growing the business, the Vinings resident plays tennis, studies Spanish, and spends time with husband Brad, Vice President of the firm, their young daughter and yellow lab.
